Sparkle & Shine Cranberry Twp PA

We love Glitter Paper because it can be cut and shaped, used as a background or an accent, and creates less mess than traditional glitter, depending on how you use it. The possibilities are as big as your imagination.

Sparkle & Shine

Felt is another fun surface for glitter.

To give her felt star in A Happy New Year in the December issue a snowy effect, Jennifer McGuire applied glitter glue from Ranger Industries . Glitter glue is wonderful for a less-mess solution to glittering, especially for fabrics.

∗For more examples of using glitter glue, see December's issue, pages 63 and 76.

We love Glitter Paper because it can be cut and shaped, used as a background or an accent, and creates less mess than traditional glitter, depending on how you use it. The possibilities are as big as your imagination.

Brittany Beattie made this card in December's issue by simply punching holes in green glitter cardstock from American Crafts and adhering contrasting cardstock cut in the same shape behind the tree shape.

Tip: If you want to stamp or write on top of glitter cardstock, sand off some of the glitter. (You can use sandpaper, or even a cheese grater!) Stamps sink into the paper much more smoothly this way and it's easier to maneuver a pen on the flatter surface.
