Super Bowl Party How-To

Are you ready for some football? As you anticipate the big Super Bowl game this month, pull out your scrapbooking supplies and make some decorations to rally your team as you cheer from home. These projects are sure to score some points at the party!

Banners by Erin Lincoln. Supplies Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper; Die-cut banners: Locker Talk Cartridge, Cricut, Provo Craft; Font: All Star; Other: Lollipop sticks.

Banners: Create banners for both teams to place on the wall. You could also hand them out to guests to cheer with during the game.

1. Hand cut or die cut banners from cardstock (I used the Locker Talk Cartridge for the Cricut machine).
2. Cut out letters and glue them to the banners.
3. Glue banners to long lollipop sticks.

Tabletop Football by Erin Lincoln. Supplies Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper; Letter stickers: American Crafts; Die-cutting machine: Bind-it-All, Zutter Innovative Products; Fonts: Georgia and Seeing Stars.

Tabletop Football: Keep your guests entertained during halftime by creating your own version of the school boy’s classic lunchroom game.

1. Fold green paper into a triangle to create a scoreboard.
2. Create four sets of numbers (0-9) on small blocks of patterned paper. Bind each set together on one end at a copy center or at home with a Bind-it-All machine. Use the flip numbers to keep score throughout the game.
3. Make stars, labels and goals to coordinate with your decor.
4. Fold a piece of copy paper into a triangular “football” and let the games begin!

Snack Bags by Erin Lincoln. Supplies Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper; Embossing folder and embossing machine: Cuttlebug, Provo Craft; Font: Seeing Stars; Other: Paper bags and letter stickers.

Snack Bags: Individual bags for guests allow each person to have his or her own snack during the game.
1. Cut paper lunch sacks in half to make smaller bags.
2. Hand cut or die cut goalpost shapes from cardstock; adhere to bags.
3. Cut or punch football and star shapes from cardstock. Emboss the football shapes with a pebble-like texture (I used a Cuttlebug machine).
4. Adhere football and star shapes to bags. Add stickers.

Pool Basket by Erin Lincoln. Supplies Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper; Die-cut shapes: Spellbinders; Font: Seeing Stars; Other: Basket.

Basket: Encourage friendly little wagers on the outcome of the game by providing a money pool for your guests.
1. Hand cut or die cut shield shapes from cardstock. Print title on shield and adhere it to the basket with double-sided tape.
2. Cut stars and adhere them to the basket with double-sided tape.
